We supply many items to Sports (football/rugby) Clubshops in the UK and are looking at alternative routes for some of our core products. The 2 main products we are initially looking at are mugs and mousemats of which we currently make over 50k pcs a year. Mugs are our fastest sellers at the retail outlets of the clubshops but we are going to have a look at the corporate side. I know this is a flooded market but I believe we will have a better pricing capability over our competitiors. How much cheaper do you think we would need to go to make it worthwhile for the customer?
If anyone has bought mugs recently do you have any price guides as to what you paid? I would be happy knocking mugs out at £1.95 ea for 50 (cheaper for A1 members
) of one design with no artwork charge or other costs except for delivery and this is the same for mousemats.
Do you think this is a viable market or to crowded?
