Grrrrr, I was hoping to install Joomla today (not that I've got the first clue how to do it) and after Dave pointed me to the help pages my son suggested I download the FTP extension for FF. 'Yeah, well that's pretty simple' I said and opened FF only to find it's stopped working. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've tried downloading it again but it's not having any of it- I just get an error message saying 'Firefox has stopped working: a problem caused the program to stop working correctly, windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available'.
I don't know if this has got anything to do with it but I had to do a system restore the other day after the latest windows update was causing all kinds of problems leading to yet more errors when I tried to shut the PC down. FF was installed well before the restore point so this shouldn't have affected it- or has it???
