OK I have much experience with placing business ads in local mags, newspapers and the like. From basic cheap local mono booklets to glossy slick A4 business ones.
IMO those prices are costly and for a distribution of only 10,000 but as yet, and to be fair, thatb is only based on what I read in the post so im missing information that I would normally make a proper decision on.
I would need to know what size magazine, it's paper quality, points of distribution and/ or area of circulaiton (if door2door), content quality and relevance, number of pages, etc.
Now I dont doubt there is a demand with the families - I fill in those questionaires for the free thorntons chocs! I love freebies and goodies!! However as business considering advertising, and for something unproven in conversions as yet, I would expect to pay less... not least until it was established and showing results.
BTW, when you say 98% of our families.." - do you mean your own families were researched? And what is the 98% a total of what number were researched?
