I'd never use one, never sell one to a client and wouldn't start off on the right foot if a company had one, however, I know some designers can be sly and sell templates to clients WAY over priced, and the client is none the wiser.
I've heard of companies been charged £6k for a frontpage made website
(5 pages, it has to be the worst site I have ever seen) and the company paid it!!!!!
I can see why some designers get away with £800 for a template after that
