BTW confused.com is also misleading. I rang for quotes last year for my son's car and when I followed up to buy the insurance in at a good price at about no. 2 or 3 on the results page, was promptly told that price was only a rough guide (despite me entering all the usual info in the form) and it was in fact about £200 more than the price that had been 'shopped around for' by their search engine.
On questioning this, the insurance company said how the site worked was nothing to do with them!
