I have just been reading through this thread, after it had been pointed out to me from my post in the finance section;

I am also opening a BE in manchester, however, the site that we have agreed to let is taking ages to sort out( been going on since sept last year)
It is not the franchisors fault, it is due to the outlet being a sub let through cafe nero and their landlord and cafe nero are difficult to deal with. I have been patient (as has Robin!) as the location is great (on manchester piccadilly station) and has lots of ppl passing by each day. There is also a subway, and a greggs in the street i am on, however they are at the entrance to teh station, where i am at teh bottome of the st, where ppl will see my store as the first one if walking from piccadilly gardens to the station.
I personally have found BE great to deal with. I am under no illusion that they are business men, but they, as ppl have posted on here before, ensure that the site is appropriate for there type of business, and dont just plonk a BE anywhere.
I would however be interested to speak with anyone who is running or will be running a BE? Feel free to msg me.
