Tom, it's streets ahead opf the previous site but it lacks a little definition of what the site is about.
A clear statement of intent (1 - 2 paragraphs is all that is required) would set out the mission and get people hooked and eager to read more.
You need to have a 'wiifm' feel to keep people coming back for more info.
