Google anticipated clicks are not always accurate...sometimes wildly innacurate - if you bid max for a period you can see for sure....
And by the time you take the long tail ...eg
courier malton, courier thirsk, courier wetherby, courier harrogate , parcels harrogate etc (you get the picture) those small pieces can add up to something worthwhile.
There is also a lot of traffic on directories of various kinds. - which is not measured by google - so placement targetting is not only cheaper it is vital
You should also get into the heads of your customers what else do they type .....what are the big brands for example...???...eg TNT, Securicor etc etc.
But dont p*ss the brands off by bidding on their keywords directly into your site, set up a simple "courier comparison website that includes them ( and a fair comparison with ticks and crosses...that happens to rate you the best....,
(hide who owns it on "whoiis" and drive traffic to that..
By the way, if you didnt already know, there is UK traffic to the phrase "cheap courier" and the compeition is not strong for SEO.
So use a domain name of "cheap courier"
If that website gets traffic, you could even pull a cheeky one, and ask the brands if they want to pay to advertise on your comparison site!! - your cheap courier website with pages for each part of the country could end up earning more than your courier busieness!
Hope thise helps
