draugen,
You said each store does not have a set pricing structure. So what are your prices for the products i asked on post 68.

Franchisees are not tied into a pricing structure, we are free to charge any price we like for our products.
|
And, where is your store located ?

Perhaps the Subway franchisee has spotted a market you haven't? Don't forget, Subway and BE do not compete as directly as some might imagine

My ribs still hurt laughing at that statement - very funny indeed. Appears the poster is not aware of their market outwith Subway.
Just so everyone knows what the poster is implying, Subway only offer a small fraction of the products and services B/E offer. And of course theirs is grossly over priced.
Regarding your suppliers, (yes suppliers, because they supply Subway outlets no matter where they are sourced ) Brakes and 3663, yes i know how much they charge, i have price lists from these companies with the same pricing structure offered to Subway. They are expensive.
As you mentioned that the franchisee may have additional outlets, i have highlighted and will highlight it again as you dont quite grasp my point.
Firstly, Hawick is not deprived ( as you said the area your outlet is ) What i was implying is that the Borders are suffering alarming redundancies where money is on a budget. Now Subway is not priced on a budget level. The Borders people may purchase an item from Subway, but they will only do so once and wont return if they have to pay more than they need to inregards to pricing structure of the local bakers and indeed B/E.
You also mention low profit areas - im afraid i can assure you there will be no profit from the Borders Town of Hawick. Again due dilligence as been severly overlooked. Perhaps you also missed the part of me sayng im a Borders man born and bred. I know the area and what works and what doesnt.
