[Poppy Design]

Hello

I need to get some business cards printed for a client.

On one side they want solid black and I am unsure the best CMYK black code to use.

I have a swatch from a printer of 4 blacks and

C0 M0 Y0 K100 looks too washed out
C50 M0 Y0 K100 looks too blue

both the below look good but I have read somewhere that for large areas of black ink coverage should be no more than 140% and not four colour!

C80 M70 Y70 K100
C50 M50 Y50 K100

If any of you printers could advise that would be very much appreciated!
