BARGAIN CHILDREN'S CLOTHES...BUT AT WHAT COST?

In a modern age when even multinational companies like Primark can be accused of exploiting cheap child labour in India, it is more important than ever to make sure you know not only what your child's clothes are made of, but how and by whom. If big companies don't know how their clothes are made, how on Earth can parents?
That's why stores like Cubs Kids Wear are so important. Victoria openly admits she works hard in her sewing room, but adds “I think it's important we know where our clothing comes from, and the effect its production has”.
A mother of two boys, Victoria was spurred to use her seamstress skills while pregnant with her second son. Convinced the child was a girl, she planned some fantastic outfits for her little princess, only to discover he was, in fact, a prince. Undeterred, she set out to bring her ideas to other mothers everywhere, and Cubs Kids Wear was born.
Victoria has designed a fantastic range of handmade clothing and shoes, which include ready-made or custom designed tutus that would make any girl the envy of all her friends. Victoria even caters for Princess Parties, making up to 6 bespoke tutus for the birthday girl and all her friends.
Using cotton wherever possible, Victoria makes most of her products personally, stocking a few complementary ranges that are not only stylish, but more importantly, uphold her ethical views.
Based in Liverpool, Victoria hopes to convert the nation into buying her imaginative, yet responsible range, “I love what I do, I care about my work and take pride in what I create. My intention is to produce items that will last through trend and fad”.
