I dont think we can take the pre-season into account. Most teams will take 20 odd players for these games.
I think Rafa is the man to be in charge and if you look at the team in the way it has evolved over the last three years, I think we can say its moving int he right direction.
Compare the team that actually won the CL in 2005. We are far superior now, with a much higher calibre of player.
I dont think we will be too far away.
As Rafa states about last season, if we had managed to beat Man Utd once, it would have been a 6 point gap overturned and would have put us right in the mix.
We are getting there.
Could possibly do with one good wide man.
Pennant and Yossi are not good enough.
