Thanks for the recommendations, i've been looking for a business account also and just completed their online application form. Fuzzy you should be asking for commission from A&L

I think I'll be giving A&L a shot as after requesting stuff from RBS three times I'm getting nowhere!

I used to work for A&L the business accounts was the last thing I was invoved in before I left- Unless things have changed it's basically a cash based Post office account, with no real support/ add ons.

Mind you its not like banks are throwing out cash at the moment anyway.

I'm expecting it's evolved,but having worked for them for a number of years I would never bank with A&L. As Branch staff we had to call the same lines as you do, and didn't really have a huge amount of sway.

I embrassingly had the accounts for a Charity I was involved with transferred to them, problem, after problem, after problem with the set up, lost direct debits in transfer ( how that happened I have no idea). Within a year they moved.

Still many businesses must be very happy, and having read the postitive feedback of people on the front page it must be working for some, which is great to hear
