    Hi Manaquin

Good luck with whatever you decide, I downsized my business last year too for the same reasons as Katherine, I am now downsizing it even more and doing more affiliate marketing and selling products for other people on commission. I am genning up on internet marketing and am currently doing the Thirty Day Challenge and have learnt so much and got lots more ideas. You may find it difficult being an employee again!
Your health has to come first though, have you worked out what foods trigger your condition?
Good luck especially with the lease, I've been there done that and had a nightmare landlord!

hi there and thanks for your morale support.

not yet, its still in remission. It makes me laugh really, as it couldnt have come at a worse time. ive literally only been self employed 5 mnths, and 2 of those i was ill!! and over one month come next wed i was hospitalized, go figure!
To be honest, with my bad experience of self employment so far, i think i can handle employment. Ive got other avenues i can go down, and im very positive right now.Its just frustrating when your trapped in a room for a month especially when the internet and even your mobile connection is really bad, that you cant sort everything out. I just want to move on with my life basically and do normal stuff, like go to the cinema and not have to worry about not being able to afford it!! i can cope being a subordinate. Im just so thankful that i dont have major assets or a family to worry about, god.Im stressing my partner out enough as it is poor guy.

Oh but il keep you in mind, just realized your into nutrition is that right? maybe you can help lol

Random aside, can you sell your franchise?

Appreciate its loss making but if you have only being doing this for 5 months and 3 of them it might not put someone off given you have hardly had much chance to get out there and make it happen.

These things are often saleable so you might be able to claw something back.

Bankruptcy really is the very last resort - you will very much struggle to ever get your house with that on your credit rating.

    Hi,

If you went bankrupt the lease is dead in the water along with all your other debts that you declair on your creditors list. The main factor I always take into account for client before asking them to take the bankruptcy road is the size of the debt. If its running into 30,000 plus and you feel it is going to take you a life time to pay it back then go for bankruptcy if on the other hand you can clear your debts within 3-5 years with out starving your self and family then work a plan out with your creditors.

If they dont want to work with you explain you have nothing to lose by going down the bankruptcy rout in which case they get nothing.

I hope you get better and are able to work something out with your creditors.

    good luck
