Business Bank Account - Name Change?

This maybe a strange question but if your business goes through a name change/re-brand can you go into your bank and change the name of the company on the account details or do they make you re-apply for a bank account?

If your a limited company they will want to see the minutes of the company with that agreement in and the name change, agreed by all the directors, otherwise it should be pretty easy if you take some id or proof of the name change.

They will not make you open up another account, just for a name change, best bet is to phone them and ask what prrof they need
