Does anyone bank with Nationwide ?
and if so, what do you think of there Internet security card reader ?

Only used it a few times, but the Ref No. that you get from the website always seems to be the same?
Given that security will always be a compromise between effectiveness and usability, the Nationwide device seems a step in the right direction.

I did have an account but closed it due to there charges and attitude over the phone happy to be with Lloyds now

Well, I thought it was a free calculator when it arrived in the post
 and used it yesterday for the first time, very easy for Fuzzy, which of course is great news

HSBC (NZ) have had a security code verifier for the past 2 years now. They were trialling it and tweaking it with results being used to develop the UK and Asian security systems.
Pretty painless and certainly no fraud on the account as a result of this. I'll be happier when the UK version is released as I have had a few fraudulent transactions over the past 3 years and as a result am now on first name terms with the HSBC card fraud team (they like to call me to verify transactions they think are dubious and possibly not authorised by me)
