We have an employee who was resident in the UK but has now returned to her own country - non EEC, non recip agreements. We are still employing her but she no longer needs to pay UK tax and NI.
Do we need to pay her government on her behalf and handle the deductions or is it her responsibility?
For some countries, you need to setup a company in that country in order to do the payroll properly. You might be better off paying her as a contractor, and let her deal with the tax deductions.
