Free Payroll software

If you are just starting out or are going to take on an employee but don't want to spend a fortune on payroll software, try 12pay they have a free version. It is accredited by HMRC.

I use this software for 2 small companies and can highly recommend it. The free account allows you to run a payroll but you have to do the end of year returns yourself or you can upgrade to the Premium account for £48 per year, per company and this will do your end of year submissions for you, electronic submission of net pay and place your company logo on outputs.

They have always answered my emails quickly and are very helpful when I manage to break everything
