    Default Accounting Software

    Hi.

I was wondering what Accounting software everyone uses?

I have been using Dimensions Lite for a while now and am really happy with it but i just wanted to gauge what everyone else seems to be using?

    Thanks

I have always used Quickbooks and have helped a few other businesses set up their accounts in Quickbooks, which they have been happy with.

I'm mean! We use some simple spreadsheets - it takes less time to write them than it takes to learn a package

I tried out Kashflow's free trial - it was fine for purchases but not for my sales which are mostly retail and mostly zero-rated. The only things which are vat-able are confectionery and the delivery charge. My only options were to enter every item purchased individually or to calculate the net amount and enter that. I already had a spreadsheet set up for this so Kashflow was not saving me any time. I e-mailed Kashflow about this and they were most unhelpful!
I am not the only retailer out there so they are potentially losing a lot of customers!
