Raising your profile

Many practitioners fall below the radar because, well, we are usually busy working.

I am the project sponsor for Top10Tips.co.uk and openly invite people (as I did 3/4 months ago) to contribute. We now have 20 features in. Recieve 100 unique visits a day and have just booked a further 4 features today. Like all everything, things take time.

20 features doesn't sound like a lot. We just booked another 4 today. We'd rather authentic pieces than any old thing.

About our traffic
-Averages 100 unique visits a day
-Campaigning for SmallBiz too - our traffic increases on those days
-When we run TipOfTheDay our traffic goes up again

We want contributors on Social Media / Website Promotion / Writing / Pre start-up. Why am I posting here? Because it's relevant to decent people who are struggling making the internet bend their way.

I suppose, we have an easy format, that gives allows you to write with structure and adds credibility to your business profile.

I appreciate what you are trying to do and it's good to see that you are making progress.

Just a thought. Have you tried searching for 101 lists?

Hi Mike,

that's truly a great resource. Personally I will of course go through it in detail. In terms of Top10, it is specifically geared to our national market...aimed at being a collaborative framework for SMEs first, I'm sure you get this...hence not a quick list, but detailed guidance from an authentic source.

I've been through it. Some of it would be against our policy. Some of it is against good practice...!!! The key thing with our approach is good practice.


It is worth the project keeping a close eye on it...I think there is room for development on some of the points.
