Government Start up funding

I am considering a business start up and am concerned about the govt backed funding coming to an end- can anyone tell me how to go about accessing these funds before they dry up.

If you are referring to the Enterprise Guarantee Scheme in which the government secures loans made to small business, then there was a piece of good news in the recent pre-budget report (released on 9 December.) Previously, the scheme was due to come to an end on 31 March 2010, but it will now run for a further year.
