I doubt it. Theres nothing to protect because you can sell marketing data with or without the registration in place anyway, if you get the clients permission to share it. Its what you do with certain/sensitive data that the DP registration is for.

For instance in my psychometrics consultancy the results are personal and relative to other comapnies staff records, therefore I need it. I dont need it for Indizine and it wouldnt make a jot of difference to sales IMO.
