Well,

got soo much to get done to take the business to the next level but unsure where to start

Nothing has been touched for nearly 3 years since the birth of our daughter and the chaos that has created (bless her)

So basically the list as I see it is

Revamp current website
Create NEW website for 'keepers' product
Advertising
SEO
Marketing
Content
Legals (T&C)

All on a bdget of £4.99

Anybody any advice on which to tackle 1st and if I have missed anything from the list

Do the SEO first not a lot wrong with the website.

Do not create another site expand the one you have.

A large site has far more oomph than a small one.

traffic ratio for a first page placement on google.

#1 Ranking Position 1
#2 3.5 times less than #1
#3 4.9 times less than #1
#4 6.9 times less than #1
#5 8.5 times less than #1
#6 10.4 times less than #1
#7 12.3 times less than #1
#8 14 times less than #1
#9 14.8 times less than #1 (the worst place to rank on page 1)
#10 14.1 times less than #1

I want to create a seperate site so that we can then pinpoint our marketing to the likes of
Parenting magazines
Mother & Baby

Dont want them getting lost and leaving when a new clean crisp easy to navigate / order site would bring in extra clients

I naturally bow to anybodies greater knowledge and direction though

whichever site you work on, you should ensure everythig is in place by the time you place the web order. So T & C, content, SEO should all be in the bag ready to go, then you can concentrate on your marketing strategy and be ready to commence with that once your sites are ready.

Its quite easy to have many seperate business's contained on one site each with there own navigation.

now that business is contained on a much larger site that has several other business's on it.

I would agree that a larger site is better than 2 smaller separate sites if they're relative.

This is the stuff I have to get straight in my own head - I obviously said the above as thats how i see it, but then again my expertise is in aircraft engineering and not marketing........

I also have a site that has been up for a long time and dont even know what to do with it.....can it and any traffic be used by a new site

relative is good but not essential the site I showed started off as a community site for the town of whitstable.

Once a site has some oomph it can be used for almost anything if the products are introduced tactfully.
