Default Wholesale In oRder To Re-Sell

Hi all,

I have recently looked into making a serious investment. It would involve me buying a number of a electrical item for example 5 Play Station 3s' off of a wholesale company. I would then look to re-sell the items on ebay or through other sources.

The principal of the idea is all well and good, however i am struggling to find any wholesale companies that are firstly easy to buy from, and secondly offer a price that will ensure i make profit on each item.

I have is £1000 to invest initially. This can be backed up later.
So if anyone has any good companies or can offer some advice that would be great.

Kind Regards Dominic Southey

Welcome to A1 Dominic

You will find it very hard to compete on price in the games console market. Also be aware that if you are selling Electrical goods you will need to be WEEE compliant which will cost you around £450+

All my best

Hi again,

What is WEE compliant?

What would you advise for me to buy and sell?

Thank Dominic

WEEE is Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Basically a tax for selling electrical goods if you want to be cynical)

First off Dominic, I am guessing you are probably school age? Not going to particularly advise you to sell anything, but might be able to offer more help by knowing that.

You may want to keep the £1000 safe and before committing the money, have a think about what people need, research the market for this, secure an order and then commit the funds.

Obviously there is more to trading than this but the principle is sound.

Make sure you can deliver what you agree to sell though. Other parties can let you down so always have a backup supplier available (this goes for almost all businesses)

Yes John, just was curious how you could tell. Was it because he put his name in full?
