Those who struggle with the web - Your internet business starts 1st june!
It is that time of year again...
For those who have not seen this before
Once a year a mad (but brilliant) australian internet marketer called ed dale, and a seriously clever brit marketer called Dan raine put on an event called the thirtyday challenge
These guys are good...they have both built and sold big portfolios of websites getting top (world rankings) for very compettive terms, and both are now loaded!
Once a year they do a free coach in which is fun...
Which is all about getting people from scratch to earn their first $10 online
Now OK , thats a low goal to set.
But these guys always come up with some new ideas - even for old hacks!
I have no idea what they will get up to this year, but last time, the people being coached were getting google top 5 rankings in the space of 48 hours for terms with 100 hits a day!! by knowing how social media works.
This year Ithink they are going back to a ppc strategy.
No idea but it is always fun - and it is build on the premise of building a busines that can earn an extra $1000+ per month...( in english that is an extra free 5 Series BMW on the drive, so nothing to be sneezed at!)
Sounds great! Not sure what rock I've been hiding under, as I've never heard of it before but I can do with all the help I can get, so I'll be heading over there to register.
let me know how it goes, last year I saw it, but though it was kinda spammy
Strange choice of words.....
Since none of the parties concerned try to sell anything at all,
and more than anything else preach the laws of good content
it is hard to see how the word "spammy" can be used.
For sure, ed dale has a "different" style and roundabout way of getting to the point which probably irritates many, but he isnt using the media to spam.
It is also true that the strategies they were using, were cutting edge and sadly did attract spammers who misuses what he said, which caused problems with tumblr, netscape and stumble to name but a few...
So whilst they still preach social media and site networks in immediate edge, I think they will use ppc this year..
Also hundreds did indeed make tens and even hundreds of dollars ( the best over $1000) in the period knowing nothing about the web just 30 days before - newcomers please note
So am surprised at your choice of the word "spammy" - I can think of many criticisms that could be levelled, just not that one!

The 30 day challenge is ok, but the site that the 2 promote at the bottom (big pink button)
you said that you "saw IT last year and thought IT was spammy" the IT being the 30 day challenge
Clearly not so .... on IT , the challenge they promote nothing, so please dont give others the wrong idea is what I am saying.
The reality is from memory, I think they sent one email out about IE over the 30days, and that was at the end. And even that was not hard sell, that is not ed dales style.
As for the fact they have a link to the immediate edge one of their moneysites, why not?
Is A1 spammy just because ray chooses to have links to his printing business??
I wanted to corrrect any erroneous impression people may get from your post, that they will get sucked into any kind of hard sell. If you knew dan raine, and ed dale, you would know that just isnt their style = and if you did, as you say, follow it last year you would know that they dont spam at all
