Default Business Opportunity to market

Hi there,
I have two great information products to market which I own the licenses to. I now want to get these to market. I know I can use Google Adwords but I have been told that the best way to optimise traffic is to have as many links to my website as possible. Can anyone out there help with this?

Firstly, the advice to "have as many backlinks to my website as possible" is bad advice. it is not about quantity, it is FAR more about quality, and you are NOT going to get quality links to a get rich quick scheme that is repeated all over the web (sorry)

You are entering into a really competitive marketplace, and a noobie to SEO is simply not going to be able to compete. I don't mean to bust your balloon, but I do want to open your eyes a little.

Explain to us here what your product is, how people earn from it, and why they should become part of it. Also explain costs and benefots etc? This will help you get a better understanding for your product, and whether or not it really is as good as the hype.

Don't forget to include offline marketing as part of your plan.

I'd recommend doing some reading of the online forums including search engine optimisation. There are lots of posts on there which will outline the fundamentals of marketing your website.

It really is an area that you need to read up on before you take the plunge - plsu check the credentials of the posts. Clearly someone has advised you to get as many links as possible which isn't very good advice. Have a read up on how Google ranks your website and the importance of quality, related link building strategies.

If you need any help or advice, feel free to ask away. Don't worry if you're knowledge of this area is limited - we're all here to help.

This is without question the easiest way to make money that you are ever likely to hear about... in a moment I’m going to show you how to make £10,000 to £15,000 PER MONTH within the next 3-6 months by copying the amazingly simple methods of a small number of individuals who have kept this money making secret to themselves.

Hi Modus, how many people make that kind of money then using your system ?

"im going to show you how to make 10k - 15k pm"

I'll take your offer up once you've proved the statement.

Chances are google will slap you if you try to use adwords because you dont have the key site quality features or structure

Second - a site like this will not easily get SEO because the keywords you use are too competitive and the site itself does not have enough content

If the products are your own,not a rebadge of various "well known direct marketers" products, to avoid naming names, then JV is the classic answer - or direct mail.

[BTW it is obvious who you mean by the reference to "£57000" ( incidentally £300K per month is closer to the truth! - but the guy in question tested it, and had to lower the number , because conversion reduced!)]

Finally - you have to find a unique angle if you want this to work....sales letters like this dont cut it , and as someone else has said you totally lack proof.

You are more likely to convert using an video squeeze & free report to an OTO sales letter - then email to the squeeze list, with tell a friend /affiliate income to encourage viral spread.

Mate if you can show others how to make £15k per month, then I assume you can yourself! Which would get you a fair bit of adword advertising or even newspaper or potentially TV advertising, but instead you want to ask how to get it for free...give me a break!

If this was for real, you would not be saying "I want to get these to market" and "You can make £15k a month" in the same eon!

Frankly it smack of a scam, and that is not the way to conduct business.

Default Not a get rich quick scheme

Thanks for the response.

I understand that there is a lot of competition and I believe the key for the future will be to find niche info products to market. I understand further that for a newbie it is particulary difficult but I have sold seventeen copies of this particular product and only one has been returned under the money back guarantee. I think that shows the quality of the programme.

It isn't a get rich quick scheme and my website clearly states this. It demands that you put the work in but thereafter you can reap the rewards. My website explains excactly what the opportunity is and doesn't hide or mask the facts.

The sales I have achieved are OK but I'm sure I'm missing a trick by not fully optimising the best I can.

Anyway thanks, I understand the quality over quantity advice, it makes sense.
