Hey guys and girls,

Thought of something else we could do as a forum, set up a car business

.

As ebay's views get lower, you can get cars much cheaper than they are expected to go for, as long as you know what you are looking for. Then relist in autotrader etc and make a quick few quid

, Can't see any problems with it, any ideas to improve it?

The issue is that you have to guarantee the vehicles. you are also responsible for their roadwrthyness, so would need proper indemnity insurance etc.

there are a LOT better ways to earn money than that

Ben,

Car trade IS very cut throat......you wont make any money out of buying from Ebay and selling in autotrader...trust me

Even the route from closed dealer auctions into private market the margins and very tiny

Very tricky area to enter even if you know what your doing.

only people who make real money are the guys who can fork out 60k a pop and wait for a return.

Ben,

why dont you set up a thread for new business ideas braindump.......that is, any ideas anyone might have, no matter how wacky.................

ive got loads of madcap ideas in my head............

And rather than a whole forum doing it, if you found a feasible idea, perhaps someone on here might want join you.....
