Red face Another question

Hey guys,

I've got another question, last one for a while I promise,

When I eventually start in business, I have 3 seperate ideas. Rather than opening them as three seperate companies, is it possible to give them all seperate names and operate them under a group?

If so, how would I got about doing this,

Thanks guys,
Ben

Simple answer Ben is 'yes'! There are various ways you can do it, but depends a great deal on how you want to structure things.

Not enough info to make a decision sadly Ben
Each way has it's pros and cons

At this stage I would say focus more on building the product or service and take care of the formation / strategy once you have this in place.

Good question Ben.

I have three websites (or will have) and they will all have seperate names but I want them all to come under The Little Black Cauldron.

Is there anything I need to do legal wise or paperwork wise, or can I just carry on as I am.

To both of you, I would advise you list any input separately. HMRC are quite used to a business spliting it's units and so from a tax point of view you will of done no harm...

However should you want to sell of a singular part in the future, separating it's account may have done you great favours.

So if running them all as one, file all sets of account seperately?

I shall keep seperate accounts for everything, so when each of my sites is worth a cool million each I can start flogging one bit by bit

Filing them No...A CT600 is a bugger to most people...you don't want to be filling in more of them than you have too....just keep your own accounts clearly split.
