I have an Ebay shop that has been slightly neglected as I didn't know what I was doing.
I've decided that this is a great way to sell some of my products and also for advertising (in-directly) my own website.
Questions:
What is the best way to get people to my shop?
Is it better to have BIN items running alongside my shop inventory?
I have had a look around on their forums but every thing sounds soo confusing. Does anybody on here have an Ebay shop and give some pointers?

If you mean to get people to your Ebay shop then you need to put a good proportion of auction items with no reserve, perhaps some of your cheaper items or things you want to get rid off. Then have some of your better items as BIN
The auction items are the "bait"
Dont forget you cannot link directly out to your www site on your items but you CAN on your About Me page...so make sure you have your link there
I used to be a powerseller, and ran an ebay shop. Let me know what your problems are and I can make some suggestions, it would also help if you could say what you're selling, and the name of your ebay shop and i'll take a look and make some suggestions for you.
Kind regards
Sandra
p.s. you reserve the right to tell me anything I say is a load of tosh!!
OK I've just set up my shop (or did ages ago) it is here
It is mainly going to be selling spell kits and Voodoo poppets, there isn't that many of these products on Ebay at the moment so I have a USP I think.
I've listed some as BIN and will list others in my shop. It's just trying to put them in the right categories to make them stand out. If that makes sense.
I know that it is expensive on Ebay so I am trying to not mess it all up. As before I have spent at least £30 on fee's and only sold one thing.:sad1:

The store looks good...but you definitely need more auctions items....that is what people want. Use auction items to draw people to your site.
With regards fees have you got your BIN set for automatic relisting? I remember reading somewhere that this is not good practice but boxby might be better to answer this
I dont see a link to your main website on your About Me page...unless ebay has changed the rules you should get this on there too
At the moment my BIN are on 10 day thingys, I know I have to do auction items and have done it in the past but I sort of didn't do it right and lost money, again, told you I was useless at this

This may be a long one, and sorry if i'm mentioning stuff you know about.
Get lots more items in your shop. The way to do this is with the Inventory items, which are priced with much cheaper listing fees. This means that when someone comes through from your ebay listing your shop opens up to them a wealth more products which may interest them. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/special...ry-format.html
Inventory items are a lot cheaper. 3p per 30 days. THerefore bung as much up there as possible. The final selling fees are a little more expensive but you already saved a fortune on the listing fees so you can bare that.http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/storefees.html
Use GTC listings, this way you don't have to remember to relist etc.
First photo in the inventory listings are free, additional photos are charged extra. I think you usually only have one photo so you're fine there.
Offer postage discounts for combined purchases.
Your logo, colours, listings, fonts etc I think are all great, they give personality but are still clean and easy to read etc.
Change your ebay ID to the same as your shop name.
I haven't looked at your pricing etc, yet, I have assumed you have.
Hope this helps.
Download Turbo Lister and use this to upload your items onto ebay, partic if you are going to fill up with Inventory listings. 1/2 an hour on set up of turbo lister will save you HOURS of painfully listing items on ebay. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/turbo_lister/
Could you put more key words in the titles to cover more searches? Personally I wouldn't search for "spells" "magic" of wishes, but if I was looking for an unusual gift and stumbled across you i'd think some stuff was cool.
p.s - does that lottery spell work then, I could do with a bit of extra £££!!
