Anyone here using Google Checkout?
Is it possible to track which sales come from Adwords advertising seperately from all other sales?
I've been reading the help files until I'm blue in the face and it's not really clear.
Thanks
Mike

Thanks Baz.
What that gives me is how to track conversions in Adwords through to Google Checkout. (ie: which keywords give sales). However that tells me the number of sales generated it doesn't tell me the size of of the sale.
Basically I'm trying to track the revenue through Google Checkout that is driven from Adwords advertising.
It's a fairly basic number that you'd think that Google would have integrated between their two products.
I dont know much about it mate - but I would have thought there is something hidden out there that you can use - some hidden variable you can send or a magic button to click
Sorry I cant help anymore.
Is it possible to send any hidden variables over to google checkout that you can later access? Is it possible to pass your incoming Adwords traffic stats in this variable?

I buy advertising from google...I knew google checkout was arriving on the shelves and looked at it when it arrived. There are discounts to achieve against your advertising spend.
Not sure about anything else.
I won't use it for a basic policy reason. I don't want Big G to advertise goods and take my money. To me that just sounds stupid. I may as well pay them to do the work too. In fact why not just give them my soul.
Hope this gives you an idea.
-As for serving their ads, forget it.
-As for their analytics, forget it.
But their map system I like...nearly enough to use it. What I don't like is you are signing people up to their database. Google and the Royal Mail are doing Mailshots together...that's what i don't like monopoly.
So no. They aint having my marketshare. Careful.
