    Moneybookers anyone??

Just added Moneybookers to my website, I like the idea of being able to get paid via bank transfer

Anyone else use Moneybookers, any hints or tips??

    Cheers

    Gerry

None at present, Not a single payment

I'm setting up a merchant account myself to take credit cards, will end up just keeping that and paypal.

The thing i've found is when people want to pay with their card, they don't want to start playing about setting up different accounts with 3rd parties.

I've just found a great Internet Payment Processor which sets up a merchant account for you and you could be getting card payments from your site within days.

will get rid of the rest once this is set up

    Very True Sir,

But i really wanted to set up this merchant account as a priority, once thats done, i can lets the others go

The main problem i'm getting, is customers phone through an order and then give me their card details, i have to tell them to do it via Paypal or one of the others, I guess since June this year i've lost about 3 or 4 customers.

My aim is to get merchant account working with the online store and the virtual terminal set up so i can input my phone orders.

I think people tend to try and go for the shortest option when paying, if its long winded then they tend to look else where.

May keep the others going for a while, see what happens

This article may help, it may not, but you never know

If you need any advice, I am here to help.

few years ago moneybookers would take 3 months to reply to a simple email. But their service have greatly improved I usually get a response within 24hrs, they are reliable and they are fair to both buyer and sellers unlike paypal.

I like their new addition of quick check out service too!

Go check our MB and send them an enquiry to see if they have a solution for your business.

Seriously, many PayPal haters used to love PayPal as much as you before things mess up. Stay in business more with PP until scammers hit up with you and disputes come along and you see your account get frozen. Everybody body dealing with PP long enough have problem with fraudster and dispute problems. Just stay tune

Oh yah what I like about MB is they have this mobile SMS system. Its like when someone bought something from you using credit card, MB will send them a SMS or call to confirm the order. All they need to do is acknowledge it. Its a good measurement to prevent fraud to a certain extend.
