Default Paypal

Thinking of adding Paypal as a alternative payment option to the site. Assume you can set it up with a normal business bank account ?

Hi Chub,

Why are you thinking of adding PayPal? Are you having problems with your current provider? You can set PayPal up with a business bank account, but if you just have a standard personal PayPal account you may want to consider upgrading to the PayPal Premier or Business account as this gives you other benefits such as being able to accept unlimited credit or debit card payments.

From a developers point of view unless you add a seperate button for every item, incorporating PayPal into a website is a nightmare (well it was for me anyway)

Another payment processor to checkout is PayOffline - as the name suggests, customer orders online and pays offline using any PayZone outlet.

Must stress I am in no way affiliated with the company; I just use it XD

It's insanity for an online retailer not to have PayPal as an option.

Have to admit I was about dubious of putting paypal on but since the option has been there lots of people have used it.

At the end of the day people seem to "trust" paypal.
