FYP Protx also give you a virtual terminal, we use it now despite our ecommerce bit not being ready yet and it is great. The service from Protx with everything from setup to going live was fantastic (they nagged me at one point because I was slacking - must have been busy posting here)
Andy,

Do you use Streamline with Protx?

If anybody does, I would be interested to know what the service is like..thanks

Perfect, no problems at all.

(Protx and Streamline are partners in the Sage project.)

I didn't even have to ask !

The FSB membership officer took my merchant number, faxed a form over to streamline. Who wrote to me yesterday advising that my rates have been reduced to;

1.68% for Mastercard
1.65% for Visa
24p for debit cards
1.68% for maestro international
2.16% commercial credit cards

And NO monthly minimum charge!

Isn't it good when things work out

That's interesting. They aren't what I was quoted when I phoned them. They advised me that this is the offer if you are an FSB member:

No set up fee
Credit Cards - 1.98%
Debit Cards - 30p
No Monthly Service Charge

I think the offer they give is dependent on your turnover and various other factors.
