It's an amazing piece of ecommerce S/W. It wipes the floor with all the other open source and many of the commercial packages IMO. It's still in Beta (Should be finished end of this month). Even when the finished product is available, I'd wait a few months for them to iron out all the bugs before using it on a live site if I was you.
Although its a licenced cart system its skinning system is A1, very easy and quick to set up. Others seem to be quite a steep learning curve, you may get the software for free but spend weeks customising it.
We use OMC on our uPrint site with some modifications and it integrates well with Kash Flow - our accounting software package.

Heh, I'd be tempted to use it today if I needed to. I've looked at other open source carts and they're all horrific. Zen Cart gives me nightmares to this day
