Default Anyone have experience using Nochex?

One of my clients would like me to integrate Nochex into his e-commerce website... i have never used Nochex before and i was wondering if anyone here has? Is it any good?

If you have any advice or suggestions on how to integrate it into an e-commerce website (which cuurently only uses PayPal as a payment gateway) that would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

lol well i have sent the job to my web developers and hopefully they can sort it out... If not i may need to hire a specialist. Indizine: would you be able to do this? If so how much would you charge?

Feel free to PM me your rates or any other additional information that you think would come in useful.

oh well im sure they will know how to do it, and even if they dont it will just take a bit longer for the first time they do it. They wont not be able to, if they are web developers.

The gateway is OK and the API is simple to use, much simpler to develop against than PayPal Pro which is the biggest crock of reindeer poo I have ever come across

    Does anyone still use NoChex??
Used it on a busy e-commerce site for 4 years, normal psp 80%, Paypal 15%, cheques 4.999% and the remainder used NoChex.
Taken it off since, just don't think its worth the effort. Shame because I'm not a huge fan of Paypal and its charges and tyrannical control freaks

Looked into nochex a couple of years ago.

Had to send off original documents to Leeds for verification & (I think) to even reset password.

Thats pretty clunky compared to say moneybookers

I've used it in the past when it was a mainstream alternative to Paypal but these days I personally wouldn't advise clients on offering it unless they really wanted to. I'd suggest Google Checkout instead.

Agreed, NoChex had their moment in the sun a few years back. Their customer service is really slow, they have next to no technical support and we made the decision of not integrating it into our hosted Ecommerce service earlier this year.
