Ive done data recovery in work loads of times and i must say if i were you i would remove the drives and destroy them the best you can.. take a flamethrower to them if you have to.
Or put them in a microwave for 10 minuites (not advisable)
Either way do not give them out with the drives.
Depending on what sort of machines they are i may be inclined to offer you somthing for them even if it is to arrange to pick them up.
Thanks
Andy.
Freecylce looks interesting and I know this post is mainly form UK so I check out the Freecycle and put Hawaii and there we go ..
Nice.
Let's change the Earth.
How do you go about disposing of old business IT equipment? I've got a collection of broken printers, routers, switches, monitors. All dead and worthless, I want to be as environmentally friendly as possible but don't know who to get in touch with.
Cheers.
Greg
