Ebay always works for me, if they are crap just lower the start price to 99p and ask the buyer to collect - someone will take it off your hands!

The FreeCycle idea didn't work and the ebay idea is a non starter we have too much kit to list.

They all go round here, have a few people who like to do them up and pass them back on.
