Do you have any criteria on what you consider to be "eco" products and how you will determine whether the suppliers / stock meet these criteria?
I think it's something you need to think about carefully as it will help you get suppliers on board. There's lots of 'greenwashing' about and genuine green businesses will not want to be associated with those who make environmental claims that they cannot live up to.
Hope that helps
Vicky

Im the other half of the new eco store UKBDF is talking about, and yeah we have certain criteria and product types we are trying to source. Mainly items to aid energy efficiency and recycling, however we do want to move into fair trade products as we feel this is an important area to concentrate on.
So initially we are looking for suppliers of the following product type:
- Solar products
- Recycling products
- Energy efficient products
Sounds interesting - I recently met a bloke who has designed a very cool compost bin - might well fit your criteria - it's the Compo Viz - contact colin@compoviz.com
