As a company we produce a lot of waste cardboard and a few years ago we came up with a fairly unique way of recycling it that I thought I would share with you.
We built worm beds on the farm, these are basically 30 meter by 2 meter lined troughs that breed worms, which in turn make fish food or fishing bait.
We leave our excess cardboard to get wet, before literally feeding it to the worms, who thrive on eating it and turning it back into natural soil.
Love the idea, but most of us don't have that much space! My paper gets used, then on the back as scrap, then shredded, then used as pet bedding, then put in a composter. If nothing else I keep fit moving it from place to place!
