Are these threads spiderable by google

HI

Just so as I know whether I'm posting in a closed environment, or posting to the world, are these pages indexable by google?

At the moment yes.I am sure when Ray gets the time he will set up a private area that can not be spidered.

Ah ok... why the temp http? Surely it shouldn't be "come to my site : 78.129.143.18" Any ideas?

To answer your questions:

1. It's all open to Google at the moment, but we're not indexed yet.
2. I will be setting up a free private area, with a section for sensitive business talk and also a "banter room"
3. The only reason I haven't already done it yet - I haven't figured out how to yet!
4. The temporary http: was just whilst I was waiting for the DNS to propogate, I only pointed the url at the hosting Friday afternoon. But it propogated quickly and and is fine now.

BTW - big thanks to Phil @ Openmind for all his help with the hosting and installation!

Sometimes It's just nice to know that your incredibly thick questions cannot be seen by the world at large!!!

No problem with thick questions,beside there is no such thing ,only people who don't know the answers to something.Never be afraid to ask how else can any of us learn.

Its the thin questions that bother me,when they have no information about the problem they have.

Like " whats the best keywords for my site" without giving the URL or product.e.t.c.

They probably would do better with a clairvoyant.
