how to create signatures

To help prevent SPAM signatures (and links it seems) are disabled until you have a few posts under your belt - 15 I think.

Surely I've gone past the seven days now? And how many characters max can I have? I only want to put one link but it's rather long. When I try to save it it says 100 character limit, but above the input box it says "maximum of 400 characters including spaces and code"
