Branding A1 : The look!

What look does everyone want to go for? Modern, Sleek, Stylish, Contemporary? etc...


I want to experiment with some typography.

I know we like to have some banter and fun but it is a business forum so for me I think it needs to be sleek (if that means professional with a modern twist?)

i absolutely agree.....

but also something that shows warmth to members.......like a handshake or something.

the banter side of the forum is not really why we are all here..its just a friendly addition..

having said all that, i seem to spend most of my time in the banter/chit chat areas

I agree. The banter shouldn't really be reflected in the logo. Need something warm and inviting. What about a green hill, sun, clouds, sunbeams (and a sheep?!)

I'm in favour of a professional look too, and agree a modern twist is good. Fee's idea of incorporating something that conveys warmth - or better still, a sense of community gets my vote as well.

As for colours (and forum skin) - I'm leaning to predominately Blue, with a secondary colour of Taupe/Green ??
