what about...

Having a thread by business name so that it is kind of an ongoing thread for stuff relevant to that business so that when a question is asked you can scroll back easily and see what the business is and things that have been going on in the past to help answer questions and also help with future advice. This would be a bit different to just having a thread started by topic/category

Does vb support the go up/go down links? In smf you can put them in at the top and bottom of threads so you can whizz up and down the page without scrolling, very useful I find.

Does vb support the "warning somebody has posted whilst you were writing your reply" message. Like the one you get in SMF. Can be quite handy sometimes ??

Ray there is a mod for that but it's in BETA at the moment

Following on from this, I think it would be good for people to nominate a Business of the month for whatever reason (we can think of some?) and they then get a Gold star next to their avatar ?????? Is this a bad idea?????

How would the criteria for nomination work? What does 'business of the month' mean? Im not sure that can be measured here.
