for what it is worth, I think the mods have acted spot on correctly with this
they do an outstanding job at all times.....well with the exception of my infractions that is but that is a different story
I dont necessarily disagree with that at all, Im just looking for clarification, forums are for free discussion, if a discussion is continued by one side, without the other being able to respond this is unfair, and is in theory no different in some cases to the problem a thread is locked for....
Having been a mod on other forums I know its a thankless task a lot of the time, hense why I am trying to be constructive and not just moan, I haver tried to offer a suggestion as to how it might be avoided.
As fairly new mods, we are also learning the ropes, as the forum isnt that old as it is. As pointed out, Kay's post would have crossed in the post, and if he missed the fact it was closed, then like me, if youre post appears you dont know that being a mod, means you can post in a locked thread.
But it is useful feedback to know so yes, thanks for pointing it out ever so politely!
