Indi - so how many sales have you made?

Hi Indi

Following on from this post from Ray
A1BF Banner Advertising Rate Card

Can you tell us how many sales you've had off your advert (not your sig link) if you're tracking that sort of thing

I appreciate where you are coming from SBP, but I do feel it could be inappropriate for Indizine to reveal what could be seen as sensitive data about her business.

I do not think any of the advertisers on this forum signed up with the expectation of being asked to identify statistics. Advertising is a subjective field and may work better for some than others.

I will leave it for Indizine to decide if she wishes to answer the question, but with a rapidly growing base of not just signed up members, but additionally viewing guests, the exposure to any business advertising on this forum is becoming greater by the day and represents an outstanding value for the visibility.

I agree with the above but mabye you could ask what type of traffic she is generating from this forum as a advertising vehicle, the sales would depend upon her conversion from site hit to enquiry and from enquiry to sale.

I'm getting reasonable amount of click throughs on my banner, how many of those have turned into sales is hard to quantify as few people buy without calling or emailing with confirmation of a few details.

This in itself most likely means I need to improve the content

I would suggest sending a PM to indi to ask her about her results as she may not want to post them publically.

I think when Ray has said for you to to ask me, he would have expected you to use your professional acumen and to approach me personally and privately, to see if I would share that info with you. Not ask outright on a public forum. I think you may have shocked a few people with that request

. As it is I wouldnt reveal my business information to someone I dont know, let alone on a public forum.

Obviously I meant a PM to ask the gist of whether the returns merited the investment
