Virtually every time I have tried to post on this forum, it won't let me because of the anti-spam check. Guess what, I have to post 15 times before I am allowed to post web addresses, but it's going to take me a long time to get there if every post is denied.
I know sometimes I can get round it by adding spaces, but yesterday I was replying to a post which had some code in it, even though there was no web address it still wouldn't work.
Then today, I was tring to reply to a post showing the syntax to use to find back links to a site, but no, it won't let me.
do all of your posts need to include something that isn't technically allowed? If you want to PM it tom me I will upload it on your behalf if you like.
Actually, this happened to me too before I got to over 15 posts - drove me insane - so would be good if there's a fix for it.
From what I remember, if I tried to quote a post from a member who had used a link in their post, and then typed my response, I'd get the anti-spam error message saying I couldn't post links - but it then also lost my reply too as there was no 'back' facility and the reply I'd typed wasn't saved. Drove me mad trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, and I think I lost about 6 posts I'd typed out in reply to someone before I realised I needed to edit the links out of their posts also. Very frustrating so would be great if there's a fix for this as I'm sure it will put some new posters off.
Sorry I never thought to do a screen print at the time, but hope you can figure it out.
Yes, I was just putting a space between each dot, but there was a bit of code I was quoting which I couldn't work out which bit it was complaining about as there was no domain name in it.

(At last, this is post number 15, so end of problem for me!)
