If you add tags to a post (I think as members we can add 2 each) it helps with the vBulletin forum search, so if someone searches for a keyword that is also a tag it will appear higher in the forum search results, I believe it also has some SEO benefits too (please correct me if I'm wrong at all anyone?)

That about sums it up - it's a massive improvement to the forum search function for members (before this was really reliant on a good thread title, which is not always the case) - so we can use tags to better define a thread. Ans sure this can help a bit with SEO with regards to topic relevance.

I would strongly urge you all to use this feature

Well, the tags on this thread are a bit of fun, but this search for blondes now works - showing the power of the tags feature - lets hope members use it for all our benefit
