The only thing that bugs me about the ads is their relevance. For instance there was a skytrain ad above this post.....whats that all about.

The ad positioning doesn't really bother me. Cant you block them your end anyway ?

I appreciate the desire to make the forum financially viable and a few google ads to the side are fine. But the Ad under the top post is in mho OTT!

What concerns me most about it, is less how us regular users feel, I am sure we will get used to it if it remains in place, but more the first impressions of new members to A1, they will post an introduction that is immediately met with an advert under their post, potentially an advert for a competitor, if they say much about their business....not exactly welcoming!
