Google adverts appearing...

In thread Google advertising.... for me is a step too far... I know A1 needs to strike a balance between getting an income from advertising, but I think the top ad spot and side ads are enough, I personally find the ad banner that's appearing under the first post in each thread a little bit distracting (the banner just below this post)

If they serve a distinct service then maybe they could be better placed

I know from experience that that position is one of the best performing for adsense on vB forums, but as originally stated I think it gets in the way of the flow of messages

Some forums only show ads to users who are not logged-in members.

Something to think about?
