Missing release?

Posted something in the Press Releases section on changes I've made to InternetBusiness, but doesn't seem to have appeared yet.

Did I trip a bug in the system, or cause offence?

Simply curious.

The press release forum requires moderation of posts before they appear, if I recall correctly.

I'm sure a mod will be along soon to approve your release or PM you if not

wasnt sure if someone replied to you on this as I gave it a mention in the mod lounge at the time.

Anyway, it wasnt a proper press release or news article, which is what it needs to be to warrant being approved for that forum.

You're right, it was more of a general announcement - seemed the least intrusive place to post it - especially as the more recent threads looked like general announcements rather than press releases as well.

Though if you don't want it, would love a copy back and I'll post it on UKBF instead.

Will have a proper press release very soon if that's better.

blimey Brian you must have written some right Cr*p as most of the stuff in the press release/ announcement forums are just, well, announcements -- and announcements for stuff that's not ready to roll yet....

Is the AVS Press release, which incidently was written by a professional and posted on various press release sites going to be published?

well not the ones I moderate

we have been getting tighter lately as we are now starting to see quite a few posts appearing either in wrong forums (ie not most appropriate) or just plain old plugs for the business. Apart from proper press releases and news articles or genuine special offers, the other forums dont allow for plugs for ones own business.

Im going to type up a sticky about this when I get time, more for info and guidance than anything.

Can you not access this poost then Brian? I can PM you a copy back if you like. I would have thought if it was a press release it would have been on ukbf anyway.

ps it wasnt a load of rubbish what he wrote in fact I have moved it to the SEO forum, it just wasnt best pace in press releases as it stood.

I aproved that last night actually but yes it had been there a day or so.

Unfortunately mods and admin here are voluntary as and when we can so we cannot give a response time.
